Our School Day
School starts at 9:00am and finishes at 2:50pm. We use our traditional handbell to signal the start of the school day, and end of break periods. Students are released at the end of learning sessions by their teacher instead of a bell.
School Bus Service
We have a school bus service, facilitated by Murphy's buses, that runs twice daily to/from school.
Approximately a quarter of our students travel to/from school on the school bus each day.
Please see the school office to view the bus run route and timings.
All students using the school bus are also required to sign the Bus Code of Conduct agreement.
Trees for Survival programme
Paparimu School is proud to be involved in the Trees for Survival programme.
The benefits of this programme include:
Our trees are planted in local blocks annually by the students who grow them. For more information on the Trees for Survival programme visit Click Here
Annual Calf Club/Pet Day
The Paparimu School Calf Club/Pet Day is one of the biggest event on the school calendar and attracts visitors from far and wide.
Students bring hand-reared lambs, calves, goats and chickens to compete for trophies/cups. The animals are judged according their condition and their owners skills in handling them.
We also have a growing Pet category with rabbits, cats, guinea pigs and more being brought to the annual day.
Students also complete creative projects at home, which result in amazing flower and herb planters.
In 2020, our Calf Club/Pet Day will be held on Saturday 26th September.
You can find out lots more about our Calf Club/Pet Day on this link.
