A message from our Principal

Kia Ora, Malo e Lelei, Talofa Lava, Namaste, Ni Hao, Greetings!
Welcome to Paparimu Primary School.

On behalf of the Paparimu School Board of Trustees, staff and students, I extend a very warm welcome to you and your whānau as you undertake that very important decision as to where to educate your child.

I love being a part of Paparimu School. This is a very special place.
Our school is fortunate to have superb learning environments and attractive surrounds but for us it is the culture of excellence, inclusion and respect that has been built over many years that is truly our point of difference. I feel very privileged to lead this school and carry on the strong traditions and values of the past, whilst leading us towards growing our global learners.
Come and see me and I will show you what our school is all about.

Paparimu School is a fantastic rural school catering for students from Year 0-8. Our school has been an integral part of our community for over one hundred years and has educated generations of families.

We are lucky enough to have two brand new modern classrooms (2014) and a 20m swimming pool. There are large attractive grounds including our office area/library, an adventure playground, large field and an astroturfed court area. We also have access to the community hall and tennis court. Our school offers small class sizes and personalised learning for your child from Years 0-8.

The advantages of attending our small school are:
  • Children have a greater sense of belonging.
  • Children know and care about each other.
  • We have a family atmosphere and our diversity is celebrated.
  • Multi age grouping - students learn at their level.
  • High expectations of achievement and behaviour.
  • Clear lines of communication between home and school.
Feel free to read more about the advantages of a small school for your child's education here.

Our  committed staff  work in partnership with students, families and one another to create learning opportunities that engage, excite and encourage our learners to 'lengthen their stride' and reach the potential they deserve.

I look forward to welcoming you to Paparimu School and invite you to contact me regarding how we can meet your child's education needs.

Nga mihi nui
