Welcome to Paparimu School ~ Living rural, growing global learners

Picture
Paparimu School is a boutique-sized, vibrant and growing, rural, full primary school. We offer education for Year 1-8 students. Our school is situated in the stunning Paparimu Valley, nestled at the base of the Hunua Ranges, in the Franklin District of Auckland. All within an approximate 25 minute driving time of both Papakura and Pukekohe. Our small size, is our advantage!

Our Decile 10 school is extremely well resourced, with two new modern classrooms (mid 2014), a 20m heated swimming pool, a brand new (2018) 100sqm outdoor learning space, full sized rugby field, astro turf, library, adventure playground and natives area. Additionally, we also have access to the adjacent community hall and tennis courts. We do not have an enrolment zone, and welcome all students to our inclusive school.

Our most recent (2015) Education Review Office (E.R.O.) visit was very positive. Their findings are complementary to our existing school self review. Some comments are below, or you can read the report in full here.
"The school’s curriculum successfully promotes and supports student learning. It reflects the principles of The NZ Curriculum by... having a strong learner focus."
“Students are provided with varied opportunities to reflect on their learning. They can easily access achievement information to check how well they are progressing."
"Achievement information is used well to plan programmes that cater for students’ individual learning requirements. They know students well."
